Every prisoner is created in God's image.

Living Water Prison Ministry Network provides hope and encouragement

to make a life changing transformation.

Inside the Walls

Celebrate Recovery® Inside is a 12 step faith-based recovery program

that helps those in prison deal with their hurts, habits, and hang-ups

and come to an understanding that true recovery

happens with Jesus Christ as their foundation.

Bible Study and Christian Concepts are audio-visual Bible studies

to encourage and strengthen prisoners in the name of Christ.

Keryx - Living Water Prison Ministry Network provides support for Keryx weekends.

Outside the Walls - Living Water Ministry House

The ministry house becomes a home for Christian-based transitional living

with a house manager, structure, and regulations. Men have individual bedrooms

with shared bath, kitchen, and living areas.  Men are responsible for maintaining

a clean home and yard.  Christian principles are practiced daily.

On a weekly basis, residents will

  • Attend a Bible-believing Christian church,
  • Participate in Bible study
  • Attend 12-step meetings, as required
  • Meet with assigned mentors and house manager.

Involvement/ Call to Action

Involvement  80% of prisoners are victims of substance abuse according to the Michigan Dept. of Corrections.

If you are a recovering addict or alcoholic, you can relate.  Become a volunteer.

The average length of time served in prison is 2 to 50 years.

Consider the technological changes over 14 years: cell phone texting, computer on-line shopping, facebook, blogs, twitter; debit card purchases in check-out lanes.

Can you imagine having no place to live and no family to accept you?  A prisoner cannot be released without a physical address.

If you are a returning citizen off parole, please help welcome a fellow brother transition back into society.  Become a volunteer.

Be a blessing, and be blessed; become a volunteer.

A returning citizen must learn how to live in an unstructured environment.  By working with an understanding supervisor on ministry job sites, the returning citizen builds employment skills and self-esteem.

Returning citizens are given the opportunity to work on projects to learn new skills.

Do you feel God's calling to lead a construction project or donate your licensed expertise (electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, architecture, interior design)?  Become a volunteer.
